The objectives of the Association are to enhance the quality of life in the community to ensure that Island Park Drive remains a pleasant, safe and healthy street on which to live, by:

​

(a) protecting the interests of the community with respect to the planning and future development of Island Park Drive and its environs; 

 

(b) representing community interests in zoning, development, traffic, safety and other infrastructure issues in public consultations by the City of Ottawa, developers, the National Capital Commission and the RCMP;

 

(c) informing residents on issues that affect the community including the status of public consultation processes;

​

(d) promoting a sense of community through social, educational and recreational and other events.
