Get ready for a vibrant street celebration in the heart of Ottawa’s Little Italy on June 19-21. This weekend-long party is filled with live entertainment, authentic Italian flavours, family-friendly fun activities. From traditional dancing and exotic cars to lively street patios, this annual festival transforms the neighbourhood into one of the city’s most exciting summer destinations.
Festival Highlights:
Starting at 5pm on Friday, June 19, Preston Street will be closed to vehicles and open to patios, pedestrians, and performers. Little Italy’s beloved restaurants will extend into the street, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a drink, indulge in Italian cuisine, and take in the excitement of the festival. All weekend long, the street comes alive with crowd-favourite events, including the FCA Ottawa Ferrari Festival, the Italian Car Parade, and more.
Experience the FCA Ottawa Ferrari Festival June 19-20
The FCA Ottawa Ferrari Festival roars into action on June 19-20! Kick things off with the Dows Lake Concorso D’Eleganza, a rare vehicle showcase set against the scenic backdrop of Commissioners Park and the Queen Elizabeth Driveway. Then on Saturday, catch the Ferraris as they join the Italian Car Parade at 1:00pm, before hitting the Beacon Lite Ferrari & Friends Demo Zone on Carling Avenue at 2:30pm. Enjoy Ferraris on display on Preston Street on Friday and Saturday evening starting at 6:00pm. While Ferraris will not be on display Sunday, visitors can still enjoy the Italian Scooter Display in the 301 Preston Street parking lot on both Saturday and Sunday.
Enjoy the Italian Car Parade on June 20
The Italian Car Parade rolls into Little Italy on Saturday at 1:00 pm, showcasing the timeless beauty and power of Italian engineering. Presented by the Italian Car Club of Ottawa, this iconic parade travels down Preston Street from Pamilla to Somerset, transforming Ottawa’s Little Italy into a moving showcase of Ferraris, Fiats, Alfa Romeos, and more.
Family Fun is taking over Preston Street
Enjoy family programming all day Saturday and Sunday; from signature inflatable carnival games and an obstacle course to beloved face painting, balloon art, and friendly stilt walkers, there is something for the whole family to enjoy. New this year, show your Italian Festival pride with a flashy temporary tattoo. Eventi Dal Vivo: Live Shows on Preston features an array of talented acts including magic shows, traditional Italian folk dancing, and more, taking place right in front of Del Piacere and Absolute Comedy.
